​ASDRP’s support chatbot is a Wix‐embedded FAQ assistant that empowers ASDRP community members to receive instant, accurate answers to common questions by leveraging the latest site content. When a user submits a query, the question is first transformed into embeddings and used to retrieve the top five most relevant snippets from a Pinecone vector index of ASDRP’s public documentation. Those snippets are then sent, along with the original question, to OpenAI’s gpt-4o-mini model via a secure Wix Velo backend function, which returns a concise, citation-driven response. Every exchange—including message timestamps and per-user token usage—is logged in a Wix Content Manager collection, and the most recent 5 messages are displayed live on the page. This end-to-end architecture delivers scalable, self-service support while maintaining full auditability and usage controls.
